Mariscos Las Palmas in Vista

I went there 3 years ago and it was the best Mexican food I had in a long time. I am very very picky when it comes to my Mexican food. I am from San Francisco and grew up around Mexican food places. When I go on vacations, I always look for Mexican food and cant really find anything good. I remember we had the fish tacos and the burrito plate. Those fish tacos were so damn good, I haven't been able to get them off my mind. I'm on vacation in LA right now and started searching through pics to see if I remember. All I remembered is it was near a Jack n the box lol. Then I found it on google maps. I had to review it... imma be back! I need them tacos! Haha. Seriously... try them out!

Been coming here for many years. Good selection of quality food. Their micheladas are my fav! I've had their shrimp cocktail, carne asada fries (bomb), fish tacos, carne asada tacos, adobada tacos, ceviche (fish ceviche is the best) and combination plates. All have been delicious and no complaints. It can get busy on the weekends but totally worth the wait.

I have been coming here for 4 years and this place is always on point. The micheladas are are 10/10 ! Great people & great food! Thank you !

You can always tell the quality of a Mexican restaurant by it's salsa selection and mariscos Las Palmas has got them all. I love the culichi style shrimp and the chilaquiles are the BOMB! Very tasty wine margaritas and good beer selection. Stop by and give it a try. Local favorite for seafood-mariscos

Really good food, huge portions with great price and outstanding customer service! Definitely coming back! The Mariscada is the plate to get if you're really hungry and think you can put it all down.

They offer great breakfast burritos with an amazing deal before 10am. Buy 2 burritos and get 1 free. Wow and they taste good.

We live 47 miles away in San Diego. I was introduced to this wonderful little place by friends, who are Vista locals. So far, we have only savored their incredible breakfast burritos, but I must say they are the best I have ever had, and humongous! Believe it or not, if you order two, you get a third one for free! The sweet little wife of the owner waited on me! Very nice people!

I absolutely enjoyed their dishes and customer service, fantastic area to my house. The cashiers are always helpful. Would recommend to others.

The owner is the original chef of La Paloma and is the master of delicious Mexican cuisine. Absolutely great food and the hospitality is above all others. Great restaurant to eat at.

We loved the agua chile here! Food has a great authentic flavor. There is a wait to get seated and the place is a bit crowded. But if u want some delicious food thats actually worth the wait this is the spot.

The other reviews mentioning slow service aren’t exaggerated. It took about 10 minutes after sitting down that I was able to order a drink. The food came out relatively fast, but was incorrect (cheese on the beans after telling her no dairy). She offered to get me a new one and that was quick - but it was clear they’d just scraped off the top of the beans instead of serving a new plate. Waitress was pleasant but it was hard to get her attention - it took about 25 minutes to pay my check. And the total for a tostada with a side of beans and rice and 1 beer was $20 - a bit much for just a small lunch.

Mariscos Las Palmas has been a favorite place for us to eat for years. Generous servings at good prices.

Super disappointed. I came here 2 weeks agoAnd I really enjoyed the tacos for taco Tuesday and they were good size, good price and the tortillas were crispy. Came back today and the tacos are literally bite sized with tortilla falling apart. Bummer

This Little community Mexican restaurant is homey and has outstanding food. The burritos are huge and a great value for your buck and the Gigante burrito is a monster. I had a Carne asada burrito and it was one of the best I have ever had. Flavor was great and the carne asada had a little crispiness to it that adds great texture and I love it.

Always amazing!!! I love the cerviche and the quesadillas are huge ......also the breakfast is to die for .....Verde chilliquiles!!!!!Atmosphere is chill, not fancy, good for to go orders...pretty much my favorite Mexican food I. Vista.

1 star only because I can't do negative. This place use to be pretty good, but it's gone so far down hill now don't waste your money or risk your health. Should have known when I got there and there were no other customers. I ordered to go and the food they packaged was rancid. The chili relenos were slimey and rotting the smell alone was disgusting. there was mold in the cheese and even the chips tasted of rancid oil.

They have the best Micheladas.

Stopped in while getting my brakes done across the street, the severs were professional and attentive. The breaded fish tacos are excellent.
